What is Women in Americold? Empowerment, Community and Giving Back

Women in Americold is an associate resource group designed to celebrate, empower, and advance women across our global network.

It reflects our commitment to nurturing leadership at every level and fostering a culture of belonging.

The initiative is guided by 3 foundational pillars:

  • Professional Development – Supporting career growth and leadership readiness.

  • Networking Opportunities – Promoting women in supply chain through affiliations and visibility.

  • Community Engagement – Fostering connection and belonging.

Community Engagement with Girls on the Run (GOTR)

Americold’s commitment to leadership doesn’t stop at the workplace. It extends into the communities we serve. Our core value of Giving Back serves as a foundation for Women in Americold’s Community Engagement pillar, creating opportunities to support causes that align with our mission of empowerment and inclusion.

One of those causes is Girls on the Run (GOTR), a nonprofit helping girls build confidence and leadership skills.

This spring, nearly 60 volunteers from our Americas East Region supported the GOTR Philadelphia 5k, cheering on 1,800 runners and helping ensure a safe, fun event. From handing out water to sharing words of encouragement, our associates helped make the day unforgettable.

It’s inspiring to see our associates show up for the next generation. This partnership reflects our values — community, leadership, and belonging.
